What drives the price

Four Things Decide What Your Supplies Are Worth

  • The product itself. An Omnipod 5 starter kit is worth several times a single Libre sensor. Newer systems in high demand hold their value best.
  • Time left before expiration. This is the biggest single factor. A Dexcom G7 with 7 months left is worth roughly twice the same sensor with 2 months left, because a buyer needs time to resell and use it.
  • How many you have. Larger lots earn more per box. Selling ten sensors gets you a better rate per sensor than selling two.
  • Condition of the box. Factory-sealed and undamaged earns full price. Crushed corners, tears, or water damage reduce it. Opened boxes cannot be sold at all.

How much are my diabetic supplies worth?
It depends on the product, the expiration date, and how many you have. We currently pay up to $55 per Dexcom G7 sensor, up to $135 per sealed box of five Omnipod 5 pods and up to $275 for a starter kit on the Dexcom G6/G7 version ($90 and $185 on the Libre 2/3 version), up to $40 per FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor, and up to $36 per Libre 2 Plus sensor.
Why does the expiration date matter so much?
Whoever buys them next needs enough time to get them to someone who will actually use them. A sensor expiring in two months has very little useful life left, so it is worth far less than the same sensor expiring in a year. This is why we ask for the earliest date across your boxes.
Are my supplies worth anything if they expire soon?
Usually yes, just less. We buy supplies with as little as two months of dating at a reduced price. Below two months we look at them case by case — send a photo and we will tell you honestly.
Do I get more for selling several at once?
Yes. Our pricing pays more per box as the quantity goes up. Five or more raises the rate, and ten or more raises it again. If you are deciding whether to sell now or wait until you have more, waiting usually pays slightly better — as long as the dating holds.
What are my supplies worth if the box is dented?
Minor cosmetic damage reduces the offer by a small amount. Heavy damage — crushed boxes, tears, water stains — may mean we cannot buy them. Send a photo and we will give you a straight answer before you go to any trouble.
